About us
At Amani Maternal Bliss Care, we are deeply committed to walking with mothers and fathers through every step of their maternal journey. We provide professional pre- and postnatal support services that ease the transition between hospital care, home recovery, and returning to work
We provide postnatal recovery support, maternal training, lactation room design, workplace reintegration support, mental health wellness, nutritious meals & porridge for mothers and babies, and home support services.
Where Are We Now
WHP – more than 3 in 10 women and newborns do not currently receive postnatal care in the first days after birth, the period when most maternal and infant deaths occur.
40 million women per year may experience long-term health problems caused by childbirth (injuries, lasting complications) if postnatal care is not adequate.
The pooled prevalence of “adequate postnatal care” (across sub- Saharan Africa) is only about 27.4% (women aged 15–49
Only ~30% of mothers globally receive postnatal care follow-up; in sub-Saharan Africa, this is about 13%.
